Todd Bentley Fires Blanks in Texas

By Danny Gallagher

DENTON, Tex.--The University of North Texas "Super Pit" indoor stadium is packed to the nosebleed seats with people hoping to see a knee to the stomach, a poke check to the ribs, or the classic swift kick to the cojones–because they all know that mega-evangelist demon stomper Todd Bentley is IN THE HOUSE for one night only.

As the crowd gets lathered up for the event, there are long slow lines snaking out of the ladies rooms that could rival the wait times at Disney World. Overpriced bags of potato chips and canned soda wait behind counters for families who don't stop to think about things like food budgets or their children's blood sugar levels. And almost every seat has a butt planted firmly in it, including the handicapped and disabled sections that are filled with people in wheelchairs.

They want God and they want Todd, not necessarily in that order.

Bentley doesn't wear $2,000 custom made suits or exotic Italian shoes to show how God helped him attain his empire. He wears blue jeans with holes in the knees and Jesus-themed T-shirts that look like they came off the rack of an evangelical chopper shop. His arms are filled with a gaggle of tattoos that are a mesh of mutating gangrene through eyes from 20 rows away, and his face has an assortment of metal piercings and barbells, which are reminiscent of his early days as a hard-partying, drug-snorting, whiskey-soaked juvenile criminal who has a colored criminal rap sheet of assaults, burglaries and even sexual molestations, according to an investigative report conducted by the news magazine Report in Bentley's native Canada.

Todd Bentley - Stage

A native of British Columbia, Bentley became famous overnight after just four months of tent revivals in a Lakeland, Florida, RV park that are picked up and re-broadcast by an internet network called GOD TV. Bentley breaks the mold for itinerant healing acts, using street cred and biker lingo instead of the usual light shows and altar calls, but his supernatural story-spinning is truly inspired: messages from angels, out-of-body trips up to heaven, fantastic healings that are not only instantaneous but backed up by “documented medical evidence” that, according to the Associated Press, doesn’t get widely produced.

His revivals resemble Pantera shows. He doesn't just speak in tongues and scream into microphones. Bentley rids people of their emotional and physical demons by beating, slamming or kicking them out of their bodies because a) God commands him to, and b) "Sometimes when you're dealing with a demon spirit, it's done with great force."

Unfortunately, Todd is making a rare venture out of Lakeland just as his tent meetings are starting to burn out. A recent "Nightline" story painted his church in a very unflattering light both from the perspective of a father who brought his sick child all the way from Seattle to the local townspeople who feel his presence has put a blight on their small Southern city. Eventually Bentley announced he was leaving Lakeland "to reflect and to rest."

Apparently he’s about to find out that skipping town is the best thing he can do for his credibility anyway. The nearest parking space tonight is on the other side of Fouts Field and takes more than a half an hour to find, so I know the crowd is going to be a large one. Families trudge through the cement-steaming heat with their Bibles in one hand and children in the other. The most popular themed T-shirts are a Reese's Pieces wrapper parody and the eye-grabbing "Under the Influence…of Christ!" Bentley also draws more than his share of actual bikers, complete with the jackets, the vests and the colorsas well as a noticeable number of biker jackets and leather vests on the backs of bikers for Christ.

TB Crowd

The pre-show features a soft rock band, the same band that seems to pop up at every revival, singing the same religious phrases 30 or 40 times through cheap-sounding concert equipment to whip the crowd into the kind of spirit-shaking frenzy that only an epileptic seizure could replicate. Just off to the side stands Bentley, psyching himself up, changing positions from lying on his stomach (ground meditation?) to pumping his fist to the blaring beat of the drums.

On this night Bentley shares a double bill with preacher Keith Miller of the Denton-based Stand World Firm Ministries who tells the assembled 8,000 that "Tonight, we're going to have an early Fourth of July" (minus, of course, the fireworks, free hot dogs and constant replaying of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A." until your ears bleed). Then finally, Miller asks the crowd to give Bentley "a great big God bless you" as he steps up to the mike and fulfills the crowd's insatiable appetite for some serious UFC-style demon ass-kicking.

Bentley knows how to work the crowd. He doesn't immediately launch into a barrage of BAMs or let the Holy Spirit ragdoll him into the "Curly Shuffle." Instead he starts with the revival equivalent of "Hello, Cleveland, are you ready to rock?"

"There was only two other times that I would go into another city and He was there," Bentley said, "but I didn't feel it the way I feel it now in Texas. This is the place where the fire of God will fall. It's already falling!"

The crowd feeds into his enthusiasm and Bentley launches into a rapid-fire repetition of "Holy Glory!" until the entire stadium can hear his vocal chords crack.

"Do you want the glory?!?" Bentley screams. "The smoking holy glory?!?"

He falls to both knees, shaking his head from side to side, as muffled screams reverberate through his rubbery lips.

"Let the outpouring come here tonight!" he shouts. "Let the coals fall tonight!"

TB -Knees

Then he brings it down. Bentley talks about the early days of his ministry, visions of heavenly bodies and settings and divine prophecies as told through the mouths of angels. He talks about his legion of 10,000 "harvesters" who roam the streets of Lakeland looking to spread the word of his miracles and God's capacity to work through him. He even talks about his pilgrimages to cities and nations who are "hungry" for the word of God in a calm and registered tone–and all that lasts about eight seconds.

"I've come here to help spread the fire," Bentley says. "BAM! BAM!"

Four or five BAMs later Bentley utters an ear-shattering KABOOM in Miller's direction and the Denton preacher falls over backwards, shaking and twitching like a slab of bacon that's been thrown on a hot griddle.

Bentley goes on for another two hours about his divine medical miracles, supernatural surgeries, religious root canals and raising of 30 people from the dead, including one poor soul who asked his family to play his revival at the funeral and started knocking on the inside of the coffin. Unfortunately, there won't be any such miracles performed this night. No one in a wheelchair is pushed to the stage. No cancer survivors walk up the stairs to thank Bentley for kicking the carcinoma right out of them or a recently departed zombie for returning him to the land of the living. Not one crutch-clutching crowd member hobbles to the stage to get the holy head-butt from Bentley himself. Truth be told, I was a little disappointed.

Denton Crowd - Floor

So were a lot of other people who frankly had more of a right to be than I did. William Dembski, a research professor of philosophy at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, attended Bentley's Denton revival with his wife and their twin 7-year-old boys, one of whom is autistic, at the behest of his friends who told him Bentley had the healing touch. He couldn't even get his family down to the main floor to pray.

"Ushers twice prevented that from happening," Dembski said in the Baptist Press. "They noted that he was not in a wheelchair. . . . People with needs were shortchanged. It seemed that power, prestige and money (in that order) were dominating motives behind the meeting. Minimal time was given to healing, though plenty was devoted to assaulting our senses with blaring insipid music and even to Bentley promoting and selling his own products (books and CDs)."

Just before the revival reaches its third hour, Bentley asks for an offering. Badge-clad volunteers roam up and down the aisles with white plastic buckets while parents and adults whip out their checkbooks or pull some big bills out of their wallets, all of which would go to Miller's ministry, Bentley claimed. By that time it’s obvious there’s gonna be no carcinoma-kicking, so most of the contributors were probably just showing their gratitude for the absence of Lee Greenwood music.

Don't look now pigseye but Bentley has been suspended by his board of directors. Seems Toddy had a little affair with one of his female staffers! Yes I know many ministers have been caught in the same sin. One would think that Todd being on a higher spiritual plateau than the average Christian wouldn't have time for such mundane things as adultery! More allegations are pending. Such great fruit from Todd! LOL!

SRebbe | 04:42 pm on 8/19/2008

Rob Bentley: Well dear, are you ready?
Female Staffer: *giggles, glassy-eyed* Yes, Pastor.
Rob Bentley: Then elevate me.
Female Staffer: Now? Right here?
Rob Bentley: Yes yes, right now! Raise the platform!
Female Staffer: Oh... yes, right... the platform...

I'm sure that's how it all went down....

Is it pronounced Frederick or Frodrick? BTW who's Rob Bentley?

SRebbe | 06:44 pm on 8/19/2008

the names have been changed until allegations have been proven as true.

Ummm, I just want to note that its August 19, and this article was posted July 22. Is there any NEW material coming before Christmas? First no magazine, now the staff has burned out on updated material.

Discerner 24/7 | 05:27 pm on 8/20/2008

Dude this article was posted August 15th on Todd's Fresh Fire website. Where are you getting this July 22 stuff? I'm talking about the action Todd's board of directors took against him. Hats off to the board standing up to this adulterous parasite! Also hats off to Stephen Strang whom I disagree a lot with. He said Todd is bordering on blasphemy against the Spirit. Strang is referring to Todd saying, "in the name of the Father,Son,Holy Spirit, and BAM!" I wouldn't be surprised if the new allegations are about mishandling ministry money. Or some such thing. We shall see!

budda | 08:41 pm on 8/20/2008

Uuummm, Discerner, I believe the article dude was referring to was the very Door article we are all beating long since dead. He wasn't talking about your fresh fire article.

Discerner 24/7 | 11:40 am on 8/21/2008

Gotcha! My mistake.

SRebbe | 06:46 pm on 8/19/2008

I think we are the material.

budda | 07:42 pm on 8/19/2008

That is sooo unfortunate, SRebe.

Hey, BTW, does anyone want a couple cats? They are really good cats, two boys- with claws, without the dangly bits. I like 'em but I am going to be traveling a lot so I need to find a good home for them. They are trained to have philosophical discussions. They prefer Aristotle and Aquinas. The grey one has a deep dislike for Kierkegaard and the black one is currently reading Descartes. Neither are Buddhist, so they would be safe for evangelicals.

I'm actually serious about needing to give away two cats, if anyone is interested let me know.

Todd Bentley insulted Christianity and Blasphemed the Holy Spirit every time that he said the Holy Spirit told him to punch, choke and kick people. God would NEVER say that. Todd was under spiritual attack throughout the crusade. He discerned NO spirits but every voice he heard he assumed was from God....So all the voices he heard were demons whispering in his ear "Kick that person with your biker boot." "Punch him in the stomach" "Choke her." Obviously demons were telling him to do so and that angel "Emma" was probably the SAME messenger that appearred to Joseph Smith...For the bible CLEARLY says Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light.
Todd Bentley scared many people away from Christianity as a result of his violent ministry. Lord have mercy.

JoshH | 09:10 pm on 8/20/2008

He may have been full of sh*t and he might very well have been a parading charlatan and showman, but he didn't "blaspheme the holy spirit" as far as you or I can know. That's between him and G-d.

srsly no one wants a couple gently used cats?

SRebbe | 10:09 pm on 8/24/2008

I have one cat [fixed and female] and at the moment, it would be a bad idea to add 2 more. but if situations change, I would let you know. besides, it may be a journey too long for them to get out east.

SRebbe | 10:11 pm on 8/24/2008

not to suggest she's female or fixed just for the moment, by my previous post. she is quite comfortable in her body. although she thinks she is a dog, so we have some species issues.

budda | 04:06 am on 8/26/2008

What I want to know is was your cat born with her species confusion or was it a lifestyle choice?

SRebbe | 01:37 pm on 8/28/2008

pretty sure it's a lifestyle choice. she still sleeps 14 hours a day and has the routine of waking me up by knocking stuff off the nightstand to announce it's breakfast time.

Lu | 02:33 pm on 11/07/2008

Are you sure you're not trying to give away my 2 cats (1 black, 1 grey, enjoy philosophical discussions, missing danglies, and now, gently used....)? Say....who are you and when did you move into my house?

I think his wife filed for divorce. But no matter take a look at this link. http// Ironically Mr. Ortiz who posted this blog is himself charismatic! Yes indeed there are a million "charismatic simpletons" out there. How does THomas say it? Sheeka Boom Bah? Well Todd says,"Bam Bam thank you Ma'am!" What do you think of your "revivalist" now?

Lu | 02:44 pm on 11/07/2008

I agree with almost everything you say, theologically and re: Mr Bently, but it almost seems as though you're actually enjoying the drama in his life. I believe, as you do, that he was truly a charlatan, but I'm sad that he's so lost and so deceived. Yes, we need to discern. We need to rightly divide the Word of God. We need to be watchful, and we need to judge righteously. We don't need to be happy about someone else's failures. I'm glad this whole rigamarolle (sp?) is over. I'm sorry so many came away so deceived. Now, let's let it die, pray for those who were harmed in it's aftermath, and be watchful, that we don't fall prey to future Mr Bentley's. And let's prey that the Lord fill us with His compassion for the lost. They don't need our scorn -- they need our compassion. We ourselves were once lost and deceived, but for His grace, we are saved.

I knew Todd from the days when he used to speak at small town country churches in Canada - Stony Plain, Alberta. He was a crank then, and now he's only gotten worse. Of course, at that time you could blame it on the "overenthusiastic new-Christian" thing. Now, it is just sad.

Of course then, he didn't kick or punch people, but he did throw 'Holy Spirit hand grenades'. No, really, he did. I think he must have watched Monty Python at some point and it subconsciously came back to him.

A controversial faith healer's return to Abbotsford after a four-month revival stint in Florida has been cancelled amid scandal.

Todd Bentley was slated to be the main speaker at a conference in his hometown Wednesday.

The event was cancelled when it was revealed he had had an "unhealthy relationship on an emotional level" with a female staff member during the revival...

The message, written by the organization's board of directors, said Bentley and his wife, Shonnah, would be going through the "necessary steps towards restoration and wholeness" while the evangelist took time away from the ministry.

Further revelations by those close to Bentley have since revealed he was drinking heavily during the Florida revival.

The conference scheduled for Abbotsford on Sept. 17 was cancelled and removed from the Fresh Fire website.

Contacted last week, Shonnah said she isn't certain where her husband is. She declined an interview about the Florida revival.

In an article posted two weeks ago on the website of the Christian magazine The Voice, evangelist Rick Joyner claims to have had daily contact with Bentley as he spends time with friends in California. Joyner provided a statement on behalf of Bentley, saying the faith healer is "grieved by the trouble and confusion this has caused, especially to his friends, coworkers and all who have trusted him."

Dave S | 09:37 am on 9/18/2008

Oh My, I will prey for you todd. People when are we going to find God (revival)in our local community thought leaders that are accountable to us, people we know and can trust. God does not need me to go to Florida or anywhere else. this idea that places or things are holy is more of a old test. thing. seek him at home seek him at work be grounded while enjoying the emotion component if you are the emotional type BUT everyone connected to this "outpouring" thinks that they have the only way and truth.they think that's how all Churchs should be, I feel sad for those people. It's a One dimensional type of service and not reflective of the creative God I know who reveals Jesus to many cultures in different ways This type of revival draws a certain personality type and can appeal to certain wounded people. I have been to the similar Toronto blessing and found it good and helpfull in my walk BUT I want to visit, I can't live their, with my emotions being played with 24/7 I know who I am in Christ saved by grace and grounded in that.

As someone with cancer I could be tempted to run off to every healing meeting but I simply know that God can heal, and that he may not heal me, and that's Ok Why Would I demand healing as a typical North American as many babies die in Africa. Does God Love them less, should they have to come to lakeland or Toronto for healing? No. My church and I will continue to pray for healing for me. Its up to God to decide my fate.

I have a peace that surpasses lakeland thought Jesus Blessings Regards

11Th SEPT 2008.

Woke up this morning and was a bit tired and so decided to meditate some.started meditating on some Scriptures like God's faithfulness .scriptures like :1corr 1:9 ''God is faithful ...''1thes 5:23-24 ''And the very God of Peace ....Faithful is He ...''Hebrews 10:23''Let us hold fast ...; (for he is faithful that promised;)''Gen 8:22 ''While the earth remaineth ...
''While i meditated on the above for a while i started mixing it up with Holy spirit scriptures like :John 14:26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, ... .John 16:13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, ... .

While i meditated on the above scriptures,i had a quick vision:

I was in a kind of gathering, fellowship. Then suddenly one of the ELDERLY in this meeting came from the back of the congregation and started flogging a young man in the meeting towards my back. His reason while He did this was that the young man was too young to be there.

There was a little bit of a commotion. While some people supported him ,some didn't.
Suddenly i saw that in the front of the meeting place were now gathered and standing together all the Elders.By now i had gotten the BIG cane he was using.

The gathering of the Elders in front were trying to king of suppress the protest and appeared to be winning.People did not want to be kind of seen to oppose them.By this time i enraged , was standing right in front of them in front of the congregation , somehow backing the congregation. If you are standing in front and facing the congregation,i was standing towards the left hand side of the front and if you were backing the congregation,i was at the right hand side.

All of a sudden ,the whole place became quiet and i heard the following words come out of my mouth:

Is important also to note that when those words came out of my mouth, those ELDERS who were initially trying to use their STATUS as 'ELDERS that have to be respected' and were therefore intimidating the people were nodding by now including the one who was doing the flogging.

The word until above is underlined because it stood up still in my spirit even after the vision.
Also note that the word get means that some body is searching or looking for something which in this case is TRUTH.

When i came out of this vision,i went and searched all the scriptures that has to do with Judgement/Truth.I have spent hours reading , studying them and praying to get ALL what the Lord Is Saying.THE HOLY SPIRIT IS TALKING TO THE LEADERSHIP OF THE BODY OF CHRIST,THE CHURCH.The word 'Get' means:receive; obtain; purchase; take; understand. This means that The Elders i.e the Leaders of the body of Christ, the Church ,is been trying to OBTAIN OR ACQUIRE , RECEIVE OR UNDERSTAND TRUTH without DEALING WITH JUDGEMENT. And the Lord is saying NO.

Have the Leaders of the Church now become like Pilate?.Pilate was sitting in the JUDGEMENT HALL on the JUDGEMENT THRONE and was asking ''What is Truth?'.How about that.He knew that Jesus was innocent judging from even the allegation made against him by the Jewish leaders alone.I mean even without Jesus' own defence.Even his wife eventually sent to warn Pilate against having any thing to do with that just man having been warned prior in the night before.God does not do a thing with out first warning,remember?... .So Pilate knew the truth. He knew that Jesus was innocent,he knew that the Jews were WRONG,but his problem was his POSITION.He did not want to loose his Gubernatorial position. So in order to maintain his position,he had to miscarry Justice and still had the Audacity to ask 'what is truth'.Many there be in the Leadership position in the Church today who do not want to come out and judge righteous judgement just so that they don't loose their position.Bible says that if we judge ourselves we will not be judged and now is the time to do so.JUDGEMENT WILL BEGIN IN THE HOUSE HOLD OF CHRIST REMEMBER?.

I tremble as i write this, because this, judgement is a topic that does not make for palatable reading or preaching ,yet we do not have to fear so much ,but this is a call for real self examination.Personally ,i have been conscerating, rededicating and repenting (where i think i need to) since this year, yet after this word from the Lord ,i have been re examinig again, just, just to be sure all is well.
1corr 11:31:
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

We will be coming back with further insight into these as the Lord Permits.

Beloved, in the midst of such perilous times a wise man stood up and said:Acts 5:33-39
Then one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while. 35 And he said to them: "Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do regarding these men. 36 For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him were scattered and came to nothing. 37 After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. 38 And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; 39 but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it -- lest you even be found to fight against God."
Things are getting ugly out there, but let us be careful that we not inadvertently label the work of the Holy Spirit as the work of the devil. I am not taking sides! Just be careful that your care for the flock does not approach unto blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. We may clearly judge the message, but leave the judgment of men up to the one who judges truth in truth.

grace and peace

I went to Lakeland three times. The music pulled me right into the Spirit realm. Have any of you been there? Do you know what it is like to be that close to God during worship? As for Bently, he is young, immature but he has a gift given to him by God. What's with everyone on this webpage? I just discovered it but what a shame. No one realizes that God uses man on earth filled with His Holy Spirit to do the miracles needed to be done. I did see a few people get creative miracles, I wanted to see more. I wanted my own leg to grow. It didn't. But I was completely healed of Irritable Bowel Syndrom, emphazema, toes that could not stand the touch of sheets at night, and improved my relationship with my precious Lord and changed my marriage for 100% better. Not bad for three trips from California to Lakeland, Florida and three months of being riveted to God TV and exercising a mustard seed of faith.

a nice article!! Todd Bentley’s healing ministry has gained national attention... but have you heard of Todd Bentley's separation from his wife, Shonnah, due to “significant friction in their relationship”??

Anonymous | 05:07 am on 1/01/2009

Wow. The entire world thinks we're all nuts for believing in a God that we can't see, reading a bible that was written by people decried as heretics 2000 years ago, and trusting our lives and eternal existence to someone that, at best, they call a 'good man' and 'prophet'. And rather than showing God's love and just praying for those we may feel are off their rocker (in this example, for many of you, Todd Bentley), we spend hours making fun of someone that you either must believe is a) deranged, misled and on his way to hell, b) a crook and a charlatan who is in desperate need of a savior, or c) is demon possessed and somehow beyond the grace of God. I sure am glad none of you knew me before I was saved.

How dare any of us call ourselves Christians and spend this much time and energy trying to tear down anyone else? If we are so passionate about fulfilling biblical mandates, then take the gospel to all the world, to every person, spend your energy in the creative, not the destructive. Spend half as much time relaying the good news of the gospel as we have bashing someone who either is evil/misled/ or we don't agree with his theology, and I bet every christian church in america would be flooded with people who want to know this savior that we profess. It's hard to convince anyone that you serve The God who IS love (not just loving, mind you, but the bible says He IS love)when you spend so much time displaying what is clearly not love. None of us are perfect- some are much farther from it than others. Some are harmful to those who follow them. Paul warned us about this.

But the answer for any of it is not poking fun of those we deem to be doctrinally wrong. It is to take the message we feel is true about Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior and share it. Share what you stand FOR, worry less about what you stand against. People don't get led to the Lord by the list of what we're against.

I am not saying be silent. But there is a way to express discontent without character assassination. Christ died for the ungodly. I think all of us have qualified for that. If Christ died for your sin, don't think He didn't die for Todd Bentley's, too. And even if you feel Todd is an enemy of the gospel, we are told to love our enemies. Sort that out with Jesus.

Powerless people with nothing to do but criticize those who have it. Sounds like the same thing the Pharisees and Sadducees did to Jesus.

here’s some truth from behind the scenes in Abbotsford. Jessa first of all was an intern in the fall 08 cycle. She never applied for it Todd invited her into the internship. Even after a board member severly opposed it. Later Todd invited her and another intern to live in his house during the internship, and after the internship as a live in nanny.

At the same time the Bellingham, Washington church was being established so fresh fire could get a legal foot hold in America. This is evident by the lack and the sheer refusal to work with the local churches. It was just for the papers not the church.

In January 2009 2 members of the board confronted Todd about Jessa, and that it was wrong and they couldn’t stand by him about it. They where “relieved” of their position for doing so. This shouldn’t be surprising as another member of FFM was faceed with the same threat, after he caught Todd with another woman in England (this is what the dark night of the soul was actually about), the FFM member was forced to either work for FFM outside of North America or be fired. Jessa is woman number 4 that Todd has cheated on Shonnah with.

Todd isn’t 100% to blame just 80% the rest of the blame falls on those board members and pastors that refused to confront Todd on his infidelities. One in particular had the mind set that if Todd does it, it’s okay even if it isn’t for others. Others refused to confront because they didn’t want to loose their jobs (like many have over the years)

Even in Lakeland which I personally think was a two edged work of God, it was a blessing to the locals who have prayed for God to move. And the other edge was a judgement on Todd, in total over the top Todd style. During the highet of revival there was excessive drinking, slasher flicks, and other things I wont get into now with Todd and his inner circle (yes men). There was infighting with the leaders on stage, and the interns where just slaves with ministry badges. Or the fact that all the money collected for the orphans and for sudan never made it to them, it was instead used to pay for the buildings/land for the revival.

Even after Lakeland fell apart, and the news finally became public, Todd never returned home to Abbotsford. He remained in America (illegally) in California, then a breif stop in Reno for their quickey divorce rules. Then it was off to Rick Joyner and his marriage with Jessa

These words are not made up, this is a summary of many conversations I have had with former FFM employees, board members and former interns. I just can’t stand by and see Todd get away with this for a fourth time. A man who has turned his back on his wife and children once again. yet will be received by the masses as THE man of God.

how my point is, all of this speculation is clearly unhelpful and I would say it is in fact a strategy of the enemy of our faith to undermine what God is genuinely trying to do. Thanks RJ for your post."

WRONG! God did not create idiots who bob their heads up and down anytime some charlatan comes and claims the power of the Holy Spirit... and in spite of our "speculation," God's work will continue. I am william from a insurance company.
